JOB DESCRIPTION

The practice is mixed with small animals, horses, and farm animals. The clinic is located in Brunflo, about 20 km south of Östersund. We are a well-equipped clinic with X-ray, ultrasound, and an operating department (dental and soft tissue surgery). At the horse clinic at Östersundstravet, we work three days a week, where we have X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and dental equipment. During the summer months, we are responsible for a larger stud farm. At District Veterinarians Jämtland, there are currently ten to twelve veterinarians and six licensed veterinary nurses/animal caretakers. During on-call time, we are two veterinarians sharing the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for someone who wants to work in a mixed practice with all animal species.

You who are applying have a veterinary degree and Swedish veterinary license or special permission. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position. Experience and familiarity with a varied practice involving production animals, horses, and small animals are advantageous. In beautiful Jämtland, there are long distances between farms, so enjoying driving is a prerequisite. We believe in the future and know that it is our own work that shapes the clinic.
